Sludge conveying and lime amendment

This WWTP has successfully implemented a lime amendment process into their sludge conveyor train.  

The sludge and lime are adequately mixed to achieve a consistently certified Class A sludge without further processing.  The shaftless spiral screw has the required torque and strength to overcome the shear forces and sludge/lime friction for a trouble-free, low cost method of producing pathogen free sludge.
